Dota 2 is a popular multiplayer online battle arena (MOBA) game that is played in the Welsh Esports League. In Dota 2, two teams of five players compete to destroy the other team's ancient, large structure located in the center of their base. Each player controls a hero, a powerful character with unique abilities, and works together with their teammates to achieve victory.

The Welsh Esports League features Dota 2 tournaments throughout the year, offering cash prizes and the chance to represent Wales on a national level.
